CORS- Pre-Flight Requests Failing

Summary
User is trying to access the REST service exposed in pega application from another web application.
Error Messages
XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://myApp.com/Service. Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://myotherApp.com' is therefore not allowed access.

Root Cause
This issue was determined to be a product enhancement request.
Resolution
An enhancement request, FDBK-15480, has been created for consideration by Pega Product Management.
