Could not add a new delegated rule

SA-25679

Summary

Could not save rule FindWorktypeCollection, when adding a new delegate Transform rule to it.

Error Messages

pyTransformList:** The specified instance does not exist

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a collection rule for delegated rules.
  2. Create a delegated rule in a higher rule set.
  3. Reference the delegated rule in the collection rule.
  4. Attempt to save the collection rule.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error:  Rules cannot reference other rules in a higher ruleset and/or version.

Resolution

The collection rule must be at the same level or later than all of the rules that it references.
This meant moving the collection rule to the same ruleset or version as the most recent delegated rule.
User is suggested to move the collection to its own ruleset and make that dependent on the ruleset for the delegated rules.
