Create PDF smart shape generates blank PDF in Case Worker portal

Summary



The Create PDF smart shape generates blank PDF in the Case Worker and all the custom portals. However, it works in the Case Manager portal.


Error Messages



Not Applicable.


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use Create PDF smart shape and pass any section
  2. Launch the Case Worker portal
  3. Run the case. The PDF is generated and attached to the case. However, the PDF is blank

Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.


Resolution



Perform the following local-change:
  1. Open the pyAttachAsPDF activity (Available)
  2. Add the first step as 'Call pzSetUITemplateStatus'
