CTI Issues after installation of CPM7R2M2
After installing CPM7R2M2, which contains IE 11 fixes for CTI, you observe the call status menu control does not update on call status changes.
Steps to Reproduce
- Login to the CTI Toolbar
- Accept a call click the Phone Line (1) multiple times
- The Call Button label should get updated from Call to Hangup and appropriate menu options should be displayed. This does not occur
The root cause of this problem is defect/misconfiguration in the operating environment. This behavior occurs due to asyrconous DOM loads related to the user interface (UI) inspector tool.
This issue is resolved through the following local change:
Disable the UI inspector tool by updating your access group roles to not include the pxInspector privilege
