Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Update your UserWorkForm with the following CSS:

<style type="text/css">
.ie8 .logo img {
display: block;

If the image contains transparent layers, one can also set an explicit background color so that the out of the box image does not invade through.

In the following example, Pega header is black as seen in the issue description, so it is set it to black.

<style type="text/css">
.ie8 .logo img {
display: block;
background-color: black;
