CustomerData dataflow incorrect when composing property

SA-98583

Summary

CustomerData dataflow is incorrect when composing a property. The Compose shape in the dataflow created, when configuring the Context dictionary, does not consider the Association rule filters.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a Company context (such as in the Customer context).
  2. Create an Association rule from the Customer to Company (do not use the Customer's Primary key for the Join condition).
  3. Add the new context to the Context dictionary.
  4. Save the Context. Verify the created CustomerData dataflow. The Compose shape is configured incorrectly.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or  rules.
When generating dataflows, the system assumed that the Join property is always the primary level class key. This is not always true. The GenerateContextDataDF activity does not consider the Association filters configured.

Resolution

This feature is implemented in Pega Marketing 8.3.
