Data is lost in PDF generated, when a Rpeating Dynamic layout is

Summary



In the application a repeating dynamic layout contains a section with one layout and 2 rows. The Header text and the underneath text. While creating the PDF, either header or text part is missing due to PDF margin.

Steps to Reproduce



Generate a PDF from HTML which contains all the data from Screeen Flow. Use repeate dynamic layout to display a set of data like Header and message. The position of this repeating grid will be dynamic based on the content of the PDF. This set of value should appear near the page margin where one header data will appear on the above page and the message will appear on the next page.


Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. 

It is because of the table break at the end of the page and see that it is not extending to the next page instead truncating the content in the pdf


Resolution



This issue is resolved through the following local change: 

This can be overcome by setting the property Param.pyEnableSmartTableBreaks=true befor calling the HTMLTOPDDF activity.
