Steps to Reproduce

  1. Update Pega 7.2.2 to Pega 7.4.
  2. Create a data type, boolean and text fields (in two steps).
  3. In the first step add the boolean value.
  4. In second step, add the text value with visibility condition as expression from the boolean value.
  5. Create the REST integration (that is, V1) using the payload.

    {"Status":[{"Code":"I-300000000","Message":"Successfully completed Operation."}],"TransactionHash":"qwel242098"}

    For example, Tomcat and static file are used with the content. This created a D_V1 data page and a V1 Connect REST. Ensure to point to the TcpMon port in the endpoint URL.

  6. Start the TcpMon and load the data page. Some traffic and the result page display correctly.
  7. Create a data page (such as, D_Container) in the Case Type properties.
  8. Use a data transform to load with a step to set a value from D_V1.
  9. Run the D_Container. Observe the traffic and result set.
  10. On the second step, change the text input to use the D_Container.<your property>.
  11. Create a new instance of the case type on the first step with a value that hides the text input field in the second step and advance the case to that step. Observe the traffic captured in TcpMon for the field from the data page. However, this field does not display on the screen.
