Steps to Reproduce

  1. Assign Asia or Manila timezone for the operator.
  2. Create any work object. In the DateTime control, select 1st May and set the time to 8 am or earlier.
  3. Save the work object.
  4. Open the same work object using UK timezone.

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules.
In Pega, the date selected was converted to GMT by default and stored in GMT. The system was logged in to the user's (Asia or Manila) timezone and the work object was created in that timezone. As the result, the date was converted to GMT and saved.

The GMT conversion of 1st May, 8 a.m. for Asia or Manila timezone is the previous day in GMT.

Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

This is an expected behavior for the date time value selected for the Asia or Manila timezone.
