DateTime property does not accept all time zones

Summary



The DateTime property does not accept Australia time zones (such as AEST and ACST) and an error displays.


Error Messages



Status Fail Message: There has been an issue; please consult your system administrator


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a data transform.
  2. Set the DateTime property.
  3. Run the data transform and verify the property value.
For example,

Error occurs for the below values,
  • 20180822T140000.000 AEST
  • 20180822T140000.000 UTC
  • 20180822T140000.000 GMT+10:00 (value is displayed and +10:00 is not considered)
  • 20180822T140000.000 GMT-05:30 (value is displayed and -05:30 is not considered)


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
The locale XML file did not have the Australia/Melbourne and Australia/Sydney timezone fields.



Resolution



Apply HFix-46999.
