DB2 SQLCODE=-302 When Creating SOAP Connector Rule

Summary
An SQL error occurs when creating SOAP Connector Rule using the Connector and Metadata Accelerator.
Error Messages
caught db exception: There was a problem getting a list: code: -302 SQLState: 22001 Message: The value of a host variable in the EXECUTE or OPEN statement is out of range for its corresponding use.. SQLCODE=-302, SQLSTATE=22001, DRIVER=3.50.152
Steps to Reproduce
Use the Connector Accelerator to create a Connector rule.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules:
The PXINSID has a width of 128 in the database and the {picInput.pxInsId} host variable is of greater width to support generated property names. The property name is not long, but the string variable internally is larger than the database column. This condition throws the error.
