Decisions displayed not constrained by application

User reported when accessing the NextBestActionStudio within the business decisions marketing explorer in the strategies section strategies are returned from applications it’s not possible to access.

In User's application the standard user [email protected] is not linked to DMsample application. However in the Top Level (Uncategorized) branch. Selecting NextBestAction gives the error.

We have copied the Next Best Action strategy to a data class which the user has access to and the same error occurs. The strategy rule the user has access to is not displayed

Error Messages

Failure opening the Rule Instance

Steps to Reproduce

login to NextBestActionStudio either through the [email protected] or MarketingAnalyst
2. Browse through the top level strategies under Decision,
3. Try opening the strategies CaptureResults and NextBestAction.

Root Cause

The strategy rule for 'NextBestAction' is present in the 'PegaMKT-Data-Customer' and 'DMSample', however it is being picked from 'DMSample' which need to be picked and displayed from 'PegaMKT-Data-Customer' as per the rule resolution in the top level(uncategorized) strategies.

To fix the reported behaviour requires a major architectural changes in NBAM and hence the same will not be addressed in the current release. User will be browsing the strategies through App browser by mentioning the application as 'PegaMKT-Data-Customer'. Also suggested to include the other application rulesets like 'PegaDSM' in the USer profile to avoid the error messages while browsing the strategies from Top Level (Uncategorized) branch in the Next Best Acion Studio Portal.

These issues are being tracked under BUG-154193 and BUG-154194.
