Declare index does not work fine:Values not saved in index table

SA-32628

Summary

Declare Index does not work as expected. While saving the embedded pages, values are saved in BLOB but not in index table.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Create two data types.
  2. Create a Page List property in first data type, which refers the second data type.
  3. Optimize the Page List properties so that corresponding index class, index table will be created.
  4. Perform an obj-save on Page List property and commit on the first data type.
  5. Check the index table. It does not have index records unless pxReIndex property is set to true.

Root Cause

An instance of a page property, which is not a top level page, was saved. As the declare index is tracked at the top-level page, it will not be triggered.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:
Save top-level page instead of the embedded page.
