Declare page for Global Resource Settings and run in parallel

SA-10452

Summary

Using a declare page for the Global Resource Settings does not work with the execution mode, run in parallel, on Connect-SOAP.

Error Messages

com.pega.pegarules.pub.clipboard.ReadOnlyException: The page or property Declare_InterfaceSettings is read-only, and cannot be modified. Calling method: com.pega.pegarules.data.internal.clipboard.ClipboardPageImpl.put(String, ClipboardProperty, boolean, boolean, boolean) Details: (none) Fault Status Value - Fail:InternalReasonPlease see log file.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Set up a declare page to store resource settings including the end point for a SOAP service.
2. Configure the Connect-SOAP rule to reference the end point defined in the declare page.
3. Invoke a SOAP service with run in parallel.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in customer application code/rules. Declare page is loaded based on the certain values of the requestor page. For run in parallel those pages do not exist and hence, declare page was not loaded as expected. When Connect-SOAP reads end point URL from declare page it does not exist.

Resolution

Ensure that the declare page is valid at the end of activity that loads it. Update the declare page load activity to fix the problem.
