Delegated rules not opening



Delegated rules are not opening. The rule form is not loading. If the user refreshes, a message displays stating the rule no longer exists.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a Decision Table.
  2. Delegate the Decision Table to a particular access group using 'Add to Favorites'.
  3. Log in as the operator to which the rule was delegated.
  4. Click on 'myrules' from the operator menu.
  5. Open the delegated rule.

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules.

The user was initially using the older 'Add to Favorites' method.

When switching to the new delegation method using Actions > Delegate, the new harness and section rules also need to be used.


Perform the following local-change:

Copy the Configuration navigation item in pyCaseManagerLinks to the custom navigation rule.
