Steps to Reproduce
1. Create a new Data Type.
2. How to make it available for delegation?
Root Cause
Pega 7.1.7 does not provide a standard, built-in mechanism to delegate Data Type.
Resolution
A new feature is available in Pega 7.1.8, but because this request is immediate, a local-change has been implemented.
Create an Activity that can be called from the user’s portal. The Activity must have the following four steps:
Open the Data Type with the associated class:
Load the Data Type (with the appropriate existing activity), force the source class (with existing property), and finally display the harness (with existing harness).
