Delete Attachment Functionality not working correctly

Summary



An error message displays on the screen after deleting an attachment using the attachment dialog, closing the dialog, and submitting the Work Object form.


Error Messages



This action is not allowed as it is outside the current transaction.


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a work object with attachments.
  2. Open the Attachment dialog.
  3. Delete an attachment.
  4. Close the attachment dialog popup.
  5. Submit the work object flow action.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. The updated Transaction ID was incorrectly maintained when the attachment was deleted.


Resolution



Apply HFix-20526.
