Summary

Due to an issue with downstream processing, the delimiter used for CSV generated by BIX must be changed with Business Intelligence Exchange (BIX) 7.2.  
​User requires the delimiter to be something other than a comma.

Root Cause

It is expected that BIX will use a comma as the default delimiter.

Resolution

To change default delimiter, use the -l parameter and specify what character to use instead of a comma.

Note, that the following characters are not available for use as delimiters, as they signify other things to BIX:

Double-quote (“)
Asterisk (*)
Hyphen (-)

BIX also does not support multi-line delimiters. If the delimiter length is greater than 1, then BIX reports an error.
