Determining Concurrent Users and Average Response Time

SA-2147

Summary

On PRPC 4.2 SP6, how do you determine:

Concurrent Users (Peak)
Response Time (Avg)

Resolution

You can show the number of logged-in users with the pr4 log usage table (see https://pdn.pega.com/reporting/how-to-count-logged-in-users-with-the-pr4-log-usage-table and https://pdn.pega.com/system-operations/about-the-42-system-usage-history-report).  You can get the response time from the column pxTotalReqTime in pr4_log_usage (see https://pdn.pega.com/documents/prpc-v42-using-performance-tools-full-guide).  You can compute the average response time using pxTotalReqTime and the number of reactions
