Different column widths display in Develo, Staging, and Prod env

Summary



Different column widths display in the Development, Staging, and Production environments. 

Width of the CONTACTID column in pa_notes table is 255 in Development, 12 in Staging, and 12 in Production environment. As a result, the column values are truncated and is appended with plus (+) sign in the Production and Staging environments.
For example, If Contact ID is CON-6523876512, the table displays it as CON-65238765+

Steps to Reproduce



Import Pega Customer Service for Insurance (CSI) sample application.


Root Cause



The application import changes the schema for few of the tables.


Resolution



Perform the following local-change:

Sort the schema of the affected tables.


For this, accumulate the required list of tables from the Designer Studio by filtering the data using the DateTime column in 'Schema Change Tracking', that is, filter timestamps during and post the sample application import.
