Disabled Button is not enabled when expected

Summary



A disable when condition on a pxButton control is not working when the value being checked by the condition starts with a 0.

Error Messages



None

Steps to Reproduce


 
  1. Configure a button on the screen which has a disable condition of .pyNote = '' and include pyNote on the screen.
  2. Test it. Enter a value in to the text box - Button becomes active. 
  3. Enter a value that starts with a 0 e.g. "0Test" - Button is disabled but should be active.

Root Cause



This is casued by a defect in the PRPC Application.

Resolution



This issue is fixed in Pega 7.

HFix-20085 resolves this in 6.3 SP1.  Please contact support if you require this fix as it has a large number of dependecies.
