Discrepancy in one message in the VCR screen



Running Dispute objects where ancillary questions are answered "no" shows non-matching validation messages.

Error Messages

"Dispute rights do not exist. Check the dispute questionnaire and resubmit with another option to proceed."
"Error: Chargeback rights do not exist. Consider using a different reason code."

Steps to Reproduce

1. In “Consumer Dispute Questionnaire” section, select “Credit Not Processed” from “Dispute is due to” drop-down. It gives two yes/no radio buttons.
2. Select “No”. A soft stop message appears at the bottom of the screen.
3. Alternatively submit the screen, and another hard stop message appears at the top of the screen.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
