Displaying Data format incorrectly

SA-22414

Summary

When user is Iterating & Saving Pagelist Data with /n, data is saving in multiple lines.

On data fetch from clipboard, the data is displayed in multiple lines. However, when it is referred in section with HTML syntax it is representing in a single line.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

1) Iterate Pagelist data through some activity and append a "\n" after every page.
2) Now refer this sorted pagelist data in any HTML fragment.

Root Cause

Mode for <pega:reference> tag was set to normal.

Resolution

Change the mode attribute of <pega:reference> jsp Tag to block.

1) In the <pega:reference> jsp Tag if we either do not give the mode or specify it as "normal" then the characters <,>,& will be converted to their HTML entities and hence user unable to see the <br> tag in output.

2) When user set the mode attribute for <pega:reference> jsp tag to "block" then it's the same as normal except that the line breaks are replaced by <br>.
