Distribution Run work object status is not correct

Summary
Distribution Run work objects sporadically do not have their status changed, corresponding with lockgone exceptions.

2017-02-08 11:28:34,671 [ PegaRULES-Batch-9] [ STANDARD] [ ] [ MKT:01.02.01] ( internal.access.DatabaseImpl) ERROR - Encountered problem when performing a Commit
com.pega.pegarules.pub.database.LockGoneException: Save, Delete or Commit has failed because lock "PEGAMKT-WORK PRTEST-1173" is not held
Steps to Reproduce
1. Create a program.
2. Do distribution run with multiple node.
The distribution run will be completed. The assignments for batch agent are completed. History is updated properly. But work object status is still "Open-Running"
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
Resolution
Upgrade to Pega Marketing 7.13 or later versions.
