Documents include HTML code on using WordMerge with SilverLight

SA-46358

Summary

Using WordMerge functionality through SilverLight includes HTML code in the documents.

Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install SilverLight.
  2. Run the WordMerge functionality.

Root Cause

HTML code was included in the documents when they (documents) were generated with blank property values.
The empty fields were deleted by the Word macro. This caused a syntax error as the Word template was still referring to the empty fields.

Resolution

Apply HFix-38612.
