Summary

The dropdown control doesn't have the default option of displaying Select.... in case where users don't need to select a mandatory value.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Drag a dropdown control on Section
2.  Configure any data source to load the appropriate data.
3. See at runtime default select option is not there.

Root Cause

This is not a issue. PRPC 7.1 is designed like that.

Resolution

In 7.1 default design has been changed. If a default value option is not defined or desired, then you need to check the include place holder check box and provide a place holder text in the provided option so that at runtime it will be displayed.
