Dropdown property configured as Classkey does not reflect values

Summary



On selecting data access as the Automatic reference to another class instance, the dropdown control for the Key column of a data table does not display values.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure a data class with a local data source.
  2. Configure another data class with the Key column data access as Automatic reference to the Key column of the data table created in Step 1.
  3. Select the Column format for the Key column as PromptSelect.
  4. Add a few entries and delete a few entries in the first data type. The results for the drop down values of the second data type are inconsistent.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

For key properties, the control must be KeyInput.


Resolution



Perform the following local-change:

Change the Column format for the Key column as the Key input.
