Summary



Dynamic Select From Bulk Processing Filter not giving full list of properties available for a given Case Type. When user enters into the bulk processing view on the case manager portal and selects to add a new filter line with associated dynamic select. Once typing in the dynamic select you observe the results aren't complete (they don't have certain standard activities such as Assign to Workbasket ...)

Steps to Reproduce



A user enters into the bulk processing view on the case manager portal. Then selects to add a new filter line with associated dynamic select. Once typing in the dynamic select they observe the results aren't complete (they don't have certain standard activities such as Assign to Workbasket ...)


Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. When attempting to filter cases for bulk processing, Property-List LookupList activity only requests a maximum of 2500 records. If your class inheritance chain contains more than 2500 property records, those properties prior to the last 2500 cannot be used to filter within Bulk Processing area.


Resolution



This issue of insufficient return maximum is addressed in Pega 7.1.7.
