Editable grid causes dirty form warning after changes are saved

The user configures a grid with "inline edit". When user double clicks on a row in the grid, the user can edit a column in the grid. There is an activity configured to run on grid update and save the record to database. Now, when the user double clicks a row and edits a column, the record updates in the database. When the user tries to go to another screen by clicking a menu item in the left panel, the screen throws a dirty check popup even though there is no unsaved work in the screen.
