Email account receiver cannot authenticate with NTLM

Summary



NTLM authentication fails when attempting to test connection for an email account record with a receiver configuration, it fails when using.


Error Messages



"No Login Methods Supported"


Steps to Reproduce



Create the email account for receiver with NTLM authentication and try to test connectivitiy.


Root Cause



NTLM authentication is not natively supported until Pega 7.1.8 and higher. Pega 7.1.8 includes the JavaMail 1.5.2 libraries that provide full NTLM authentication support.

Resolution



Make the following change to the operating environment: implement a file listener to perform the required operations instead of using email.
