Email listener fails to start with IllegalStateException
An Email Account is configured, sender and receiver details are configured. Clicking the Test connectivity button reports a successful connection. However, when trying to start the listener through SMA, an error is thrown.
Listener 'Data-Admin-Connect-EmailListener:your_listener.Listener(com.pega.pegarules.integration.engine.internal.services.email.EmailListener)/0' failed to start because of the following error:
Failed to launch listener, java.lang.IllegalStateException: This operation is not allowed on a closed folder
A3 NO There is no replica for that mailbox on this server.
Steps to Reproduce
There is no specific use case to replicate this behavior.
An issue in the custom application code or rules. With debug enabled on 'com.pega.pegarules.integration.engine.internal.services.email.EmailListener', the application server log displays that the listener successfully connects and logs in to the email server, however, it also states there is no replica for the specified mailbox on the server.
Perform the following local-change:
Correct the IP address specified for the host on the Email Account rule form which was pointing to the wrong email server.
