Summary

The user encountered an issue while trying to open a Scheduled Campaign to rescheduled it. Now, they are unable to work on the campaign.

Error Messages

The MD client crashes with following error displayed in the shutdown popup:
Program Error Intercepted
An unexpected 'the control's value cannot be set outside the range determined by the 'minvalue' and 'maxvalue' properties.' error occurred in MarketingDirector.

Steps to Reproduce

Open the scheduled campaign from Schedule Manager.

Root Cause

The reoccurring campaign is scheduled with frequency set to 'Every 999 Months' ,which is crashing when the next run date is greater than or equal to the year 2100. 

Resolution

The issue was resolved after performing following changes:

-Login to the database as CMD owner and set the next run date of the problematic campaign in the SPI_MASTER table to an year before 2100.
-Try to open the campaign from Schedule Manager.
-If the campaign is locked by other process, please note the process ID in the warning window that indicates the lock on campaign. Then run the following command from CMD server to kill the lock on the campaign:
                    kill -9 <process ID in warning window>
-Once it is possible to open the campaign, perform the required changes
-Suggested the user to edit the campaign frequency(Every Month) value from 999 to 800/900 or any value below 999 before performing any further re-queuing, so that the campaign doesn’t cause client crash again in future.
