Error: Dependent for parent has not been created successfully

The error below is being written to the PegaRULES log file when a subcase creation is skipped.

The actual functionality is correct. The only issue is the error message.

Error Messages

The dependent <SubCase> for parent <ParentCase> has not been created successfully

Steps to Reproduce

Create one or more child cases from a parent case where the creation of one of the subcases is skipped.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

The error message is being logged when there is a skip of the subcase creation in the pzStartDependencies Rule-Utility-Function.

That message should be logged as a debug message and not as an error message.

Apply HFix-33235.
