Error displays during hotfix installation using Hotfix Manager



Hotfix Manager does not load and unable to install any hotfix using it. Instead, during installation a dirty form prompt displays.

Error Messages

You are about to close an open work item which has changes that have not been saved.

Steps to Reproduce

Launch the Hotfix Manager from Designer Studio and attempt to install a hotfix.

Root Cause

The Data-UpdateManager-ScannerResult instances were corrupted.


Perform the following local-change:
  1. Open each Data-UpdateManager-ScannerResult class instances and copy the pzInsKey schema from instance view XML
  2. Pass the pzInsKey schema in pzLoadMostRecent (Data-UpdateManager-ScannerResult) activity at 3rd step and save the activity

  3. Navigate to the D_pzLatestScan data page and run it

  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 with each Data-UpdateManager-ScannerResult class instances as required
