Error with editable format type number in IE 11



User has a repeat grid - row editing of master-detail. In the flow action with the editable section there is an input box with editable format type number. When the flow is executed in Internet Explorer 11,  and if the user types an alphabet in the number field, an error "PropertyValueInvalid .PropertyName .pegaToDouble() Invalid number format" is observed. 

Error Messages

"PropertyValueInvalid .PropertyName .pegaToDouble() Invalid number format"

Steps to Reproduce

1.Create a repeat grid - row editing of master-detail.
2. In the flow action with the editable section place an input box with editable format type number.
3. Run the flow in Internet Explorer 11, and type in alphabet and submit. The screen is replaced with the error message.


Root Cause

The issue is a limitation of IE Browser with respect to Integer Data type. PRPC retained the value when server side validation happens.


Follow these local-change steps:

1. Use a Property as Text.
2. Make sure the UI control is empty. 

3. Validation is done using Validation rule:
