Error on Export operation using PRPC UI

Summary



Exporting RAP files from one server with SQL Server DB and attempting to import on another server with Oracle DB isn’t working.

Error:

There are problmes applying changes to the database object: pc_NW_LoadBala_Work
Database-General Problem executing SQL to update database schema 1001 42000 ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce



1. The application is created on PEGA-Windows-Server(SQL Server 2008 instance) ->user: [email protected]
2. The Rule-Admin-Product is created using Package operation(using UI ) ->user: [email protected]
3. The JAR file is created using Export operation(using UI ) ->user: [email protected]
4.Now on another server PEGA-Windows-Or(Oracle instance) if I try to perform import operation then the error occurred.
->user: [email protected]


Root Cause



There are problmes applying changes to the database object: pc_NW_LoadBala_Work
Database-General Problem executing SQL to update database schema 1001 42000 ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

Resolution



The ORA-01031 generally means that the user does not have the correct privileges to the schema/tables that are being modified. PRPC schema user should have default RESOURCE and CONNECT roles and CRTEATE TABLE, VIEW, PROCEDURE privileges
