Error message displays in user portal in High Availability Mode

Summary



Error displays in the User portal when accessing a  system running in the High Availability mode.


Error Messages



Your session was disrupted. Please verify all work in progress.


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Enable High Availability mode.
  2. Access the User Portal.


Root Cause



A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment.

According to the Fiddler trace, the ADRUM Cookie value changed in a session




Since the ADRUM cookie did not  maintain the same value in the session, the system considers that the user session was modified, and hence displayed the crash message.


Resolution



Perform the following local-change:

To disable the crash message, set session/ha/crash/EnableUserNotification to false.

Or

ADRUM Cookie is related to the AppDynamic Application. In the configuration of this application, ensure to persist the cookie value in a user session.
