Error Message on screen while opening Audience



After importing a prospect list and when then trying to run it (through Audiences), a proxy error is displayed.

Steps to Reproduce

Run a Segment (Audience) in Pega Marketing

Root Cause

A side effect of an excessive number of queue items due to an agent being stopped.
PRPC checks if the segment has completed with regular request.
On the server side, PRPC does SQL query as per below to check if the queue item has been created:

SELECT "PZINSKEY" AS "pzInsKey" , "PYITEMSTATUS" AS "pyItemStatus" , "PYITEMID" AS "pyItemId", "PZINSKEY" as "pxInsHandle" from PRPCDATA.pr_sys_queues WHERE "PXOBJCLASS" = ?
This SQL query was very slow due to an excessive number if queue items.

This large number of queue items was not due to Pega Marketing but it was impacting it.


Investigate and clear this high number of queue items. It could be cleared by re-activating the agent associated to these queue items.
