Error - 'null' page message on Assignment Next

Summary



Application assignments are not able to progress into the next stage. Tracing the error has been observed that the value for pzStatus on pyWorkPage is 'false' where valid values are 'Valid' and 'Invalid'.
The error occurs at step 5 in Work-.RecalculateAndSave. There is no error in the logfile.


Error Messages



No error in the log file

"** ** null" on the screen.


Steps to Reproduce



Create an case and submit the first assignment.


Root Cause



In order to find the root cause, the administrator private edited the activity RecalculateAndSave step 5 to print the error message using the below JAVA edit.

The log states the below

Resolution



There was a class rule missing from the deployment. After corrected the deployment sequence the application is now working as expected.
The RecalculateAndSave activity should be more informative regarding the error. BUG-286722 has been raised to track this item.
