Error occurs and embedded Iterations in a data transform fail



When using two levels of Embedded pagelists, unable to use <CURRENT> to identify the current index of both the inner and outer pagelists.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a data transform that copies data from one page to another.
  2. Add an Embedded pagelist to the top layer page using Append new page.
  3. Add an Embedded pagelist to the first level embedded pagelist using Append new page.
  4. 4. In the data transform, set values from one top level page to another top level page.
  5. Iterate through the first level pagelist using 'For each page in'.
  6. Append a new page.
  7. Set the values from the first embedded pagelist to the first level pagelist of the other top level page.
  8. In the Iteration, set the values from the second level embedded pagelist from the source top level page to the second level embedded pagelist in the destination second level pagelist.
  9. Copy more than one page for the error to manifest.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.


Perform the following local-change:

Use <APPEND> and <LAST> to access indexes.
