Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
The FreeClipboard activity manages the clean-up which occurs on switching between applications. This activity cleans the PRThread and removes the Thread pages (User pages and Editable pages) in a Java step by iterating over and removing them from the Tools. The Pega application did not check if the thread is still active and removed the active threads as well.
Resolution
This feature is implemented in Pega Platform 8.3.2.
