Summary
Error occurs while recalling a work item. This occurs only when invoking pxChangeStage.
Error Messages
trying to calculate the handle of a class whose instances may not be written to the database: Assign-: code: <none> SQLState: <none> Message: <none>
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a work object and enter the details for the first assignment
- Move the assignment to the manager for approval
- Attempt to recall the work object using pxChangeStage activity to edit the details entered in Step 1
Root Cause
An issue in the custom application code or rules. The recall action is performed on Review Harness and while opening the assignment in review harness, newAssignPage was accessed. This created an empty newAssignPage on the Clipboard.
The Clipboard should not have any assignment page.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:Add @PageExists("newAssignPage") step in the When condition before checking the values on newAssignPage.
