Summary
Using PRPC 7 and IE 8, after creating a portal where users can click and view the email attachments to the work objects, users are getting active x control errors when trying to view an email.

Try opening the email attached to work object in PRPC 7
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is a browser compatibility issue.
Resolution
This issue is resolved through the following local change: Emulating IE8 with compatibility mode on
