Error occurs on opening a rule in the Dev Studio.


Error Messages

Problem executing pzAssemblePreprocess for RULE-HTML-SECTION @BASECLASS pyDirtyCheckConfirm java.lang.NullPointerException
 


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to the DEV studio
  2. Open a rule


Root Cause



A software use or operation error. An issue with section generation.

Resolution



Perform the following local-change: 
  1. Perform a Private Edit of the @baseclass • BulkValidateSave activity from Pega-UIDesign 
  2. Uncheck Lock and Release on the commit options in the second step of Obj-Open-By-Handle
  3. Execute the activity
  4. Provide pzInsKey of the RULE-HTML-SECTION @BASECLASS pyDirtyCheckConfirm section where the pzAssembleprocess error displays
  5. Execute the activity
  6. Log out, clear the browser cache and relogin
