Error on performing any action after resetting the password



Error while performing any action after resetting the password using the Forgot password feature in a Two-factor factor authentication.

Error Messages

Error: 'There has been an issue; Please consult your system administrator'

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Click Forgot password
  2. Reset the password
  3. Log in with the new password
  4. Perform any action. For example, open the Tracer or switch application

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

After using the Forgot password feature, the old requestor was not cleaned up. Hence, any requestor-level pages that were created in the earlier process were retained.
