Summary
Error occurs when rules circumstanced on Pega 7.1 are picked up on Pega 8.3.1. This occurs post upgrading Pega 7.1 to Pega 8.3.1.
Error Messages
Encountered more than one Circumstance Date Property when opening Rule
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a harness rule circumstanced by 'As of Date' date time property on Pega 7.1
- Upgrade to Pega 8.3.1. Exception occurs instead of the harness getting rendered on the screen
Root Cause
An issue in the custom application code or rules. The environment is upgraded from Pega 7.1 to Pega 8.3.1. The circumstancing functionality is redesigned. The As of Date property, Start and End date fields are merged to provide the date range functionality.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
- Navigate to System > Release > Upgrade
- Update the existing applications
