Error in pzsavedatatypesettings when saving delegated Data Table

Summary



User is unable to edit and save a delegated Data Type. A blank ActivityStatusError message appears and there is an error in the log.
The issue occurs when HFix-35909 is installed and the Data Type ruleset is locked.


Error Messages



Caused by: com.pega.pegarules.pub.runtime.IndeterminateConditionalException: The reference .pyPostProcessWhenLocked=="true" is not valid. Reason: FUAInstance-NullMyStepPage

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch the Case Manager portal and click on Configuration.
  2. Click the Edit button for the delegated Data Type.
  3. Edit an entry and try to save.
  4. Observe that a blank ActivityStatusError message appears and there is an error in the log.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules

Resolution



Apply HFix-38424. The hot fix removes the Save button as it is not needed since the Data Type will auto save when the user tabs out of the field.
