Error in Rule Cache Management report

Summary



The System Management Application (SMA) Rule Cache Summary report is missing information. The core cache has reconfigured and afterwards the Rule Cache Management report shows "NA" for pruning, even when system has been impaired by extensive pruning. However, the correct data is still available under Advanced > Reports > Most Recently Used Caches Report.

Steps to Reproduce



On a system with an undersized rule cache, compare the Rule Cache Management report to the Most Recently Used Caches report.

Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. The Rule Cache Management report has been changed and now incorrectly shows pruning information.

Resolution



This issue is scheduled to be resolved in update release Pega 7.1.8.
