Error on running Connect REST and Connect SOAP rules



PeerUnverifiedException on running the Connect REST and Connect SOAP rules.

Error Messages

Unable to connect to resource due to TLS/SSL issue: peer not authenticated SOAP service failed
Unable to connect to resource due to TLS/SSL issue: PKIX path building failed: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Perform a test connectivity in the Connect REST/SOAP rules
  2. Run an activity which invokes the REST/SOAP connector

Root Cause

A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment.


Perform the following local-change:
Install the end point certificates in the application server truststore.
