Error specifying directed parent class even though class exists

SA-22465

Summary

User is not able to associate CPM-PegaNPS-Survey as direct parent of an application class.

Error Messages

names immediate super class:
Class CPM-PegaNPS-Survey does not exist. Please define an existing parent class.

Steps to Reproduce

Attempt to specify a CPM-associated class as the directed parent of an application class.

Root Cause

As this version does not allow the ruleset to be set as application-validated, a version of the directed parent class's ruleset needs to be listed on the prerequisite list for a version of the child class's ruleset.

Resolution

Make the following change in the user environment:

The required prerequisite ruleset version is the highest version of the ruleset associated with the desired directed parent class.

Specify this prerequisite as the last one in the list of prerequisites for the highest version of the ruleset associated with the child class.
